MACEDON. Akanthos. Circa 470-390 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 16 mm, 2.19 g). Forepart of a bull to left, head turned back to right; above, Π and swastika. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with granulated recesses. HGC 3, 392. SNG ANS 42. Nicely toned and with an interesting obverse symbol. Nearly extremely fine.
